Once again this year, we will be holding our annual tournament fund-raiser at the Princes Risborough Secondary school. Many of you will have joined us before and will know that we aim to provide a friendly tournament, played in the right spirit with FA qualified referees for each game.
As 2009, we have restricted the u7 & u8 age groups to mini leagues and divided the u9 to u16 age groups into two separate competitions, giving more opportunity for players of differing abilities to enjoy competitive matches.
The Colts competitions are limited to teams as follows:
- u9 and u10 Blue Division of the South Bucks Mini Soccer Conference and depending on the number/mix of applicants some Green Division but no Red Division.
- u11 to u16 Divisions 3, 4 and 5 of the Wycombe and South Bucks Minor Football League, or equivalent.
This year we are also hoping to have leagues for u10 and u12 girls.
Each squad can register a maximum of 8 players, with a team comprising 6 players and 2 subs, who can be used on a ‘rolling’ basis during games. The u16 and Youth teams are restricted to five a side, so will be limited to 7 registered players including 2 subs. All league games will be 8 minutes one way with no break at half time. All semis and finals will be 7 mins each half with a one minute interval break. |
