Risborough Rangers JFC has recently gained the FA Charter Standard award and is now working in partnership with Princes Risborough Secondary School, the Football Association and Bucks Sport to launch a new initiative to encourage more girls to get involved in playing football.

The first training session will be on Saturday January 23rd at Wades Park from 9.30am-11am. We welcome girls of all abilities from the ages of 7 to 11 (school years 3 to 6) to meet new friends, learn new skills and play fun games.

Players should wear warm & waterproof training  kit, football boots and also bring a drink. All training sessions will be free of charge until the end of the season.

The group will be managed by Vicky Bonham, who is a fully qualified FA Coach, supported closely by Lisa Welling (Berks & Bucks FA),  who is working with the local primary schools to arrange free taster sessions before the January launch.

"This club has been providing junior football in Princes Risborough for over 30 years. I am delighted to be welcoming Vicky and her team into Risborough Rangers Juniors Football Club to help encourage more girls into learning and developing football skills.

This is a real chance for as many girls as possible in the area to get involved in junior football and join us in this exciting venture. Please help make it a great success!"
